FTZ Board Moves to Create New Subzones in Minnesota, Wisconsin

New Subzone Sought in Minnesota. The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has received an application from the Greater Metropolitan Area Foreign Trade Zone Commission, grantee of FTZ 119, requesting subzone status for the MAT Industries LLC facility in Springfield, Minn. A notification of proposed production activity at this facility has been docketed and is being processed separately. Comments on this application are due no later than March 16.

Farm Equipment Facility. The FTZ Board has received from CNH Industrial America LLC a notification of proposed production activity for its facilities within subzone 41I in Racine, Wis. CNH already has authority to produce agricultural tractors and tractor components, cabs, transmissions, axles, valves and valve assemblies, gear boxes for combines, and final drives for combines within this subzone, and the current request would add to the scope of authority the production of certain 4-wheel drive axle subassemblies, planetary carrier assemblies, nondriving planetary carrier assemblies, pinion assemblies with differentials, and engine-powered wheel drive axle assemblies. Comments on this notification are due no later than March 16.

New Subzone in Illinois. The FTZ Board has approved the establishment of subzone 245B at the Schumacher Electric Corporation facility in Hoopeston, Ill.
