FTZ Board Approves New Subzone, Expanded Production Authority

New Jersey Subzone. The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has approved the establishment of subzone 44H at the Givaudan Flavors Corporation facility in East Hanover, N.J., which is used for the production of flavor compounds.

HVAC. The FTZ Board has received from Miami-Dade County, grantee of FTZ 281, a notification of proposed production activity at the Carrier InterAmerica Corporation facility in Miami, Fla.., which is used to combine and segregate mini-split and multi-split type heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. Comments on this notification are due no later than Oct. 3.

Aluminum Printing Plates. The FTZ Board has approved production under zone procedures at the Eastman Kodak Company facilities within subzone 26N in Columbus, Ga., which are used for the production of aluminum printing plates.

Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment. The FTZ Board has approved production under zone procedures at the ASML US Inc. facilities in Newtown and Wilton, Conn., which are used for the production of advanced system modules for optical, metrology and lithography semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
