FTZ Board Creates Utah Subzone, Considers Request from Heavy Equipment Facility

Utah Subzone. The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has approved the establishment of subzone 30B at the Cabela’s Inc. facility in Tooele, Utah.

Construction and Forestry Equipment. The FTZ has received from Deere & Company, operator of subzone 133F, a notification of proposed production activity for its facility within subzone 133F in Dubuque, Iowa, which is used for the production of construction and forestry equipment. FTZ activity would be limited to the specific foreign-status materials and components and specific finished products described in the notification and subsequently authorized by the FTZ Board. Comments on this notification are due no later than July 29.
