FTZ Board Considers New Subzones, Production Authority

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board is accepting comments through June 6 on the following.

- The West Cameron Port Commission, grantee of FTZ 291, is requesting subzone status for the G2 LNG LLC facility in Cameron, La. No authorization for production activity has been requested at this time. 

- The Puerto Rico Trade & Export Company, grantee of FTZ 61, is requesting subzone status for the Rooms to Go (PR) Inc. facility in Toa Baja, Puerto Rico. No authorization for production activity has been requested at this time.

- Givaudan Flavors Corporation has submitted a notification of proposed production activity for its facility within subzone 46G in Cincinnati, Ohio, which is used for the production of flavor compounds. FTZ activity would be limited to the specific foreign-status materials and components and specific finished products described in the notification and subsequently authorized. The materials sourced from abroad include benzaldehyde, vanillin, orange oil, concentrated orange oil, lemon oil and concentrated lemon oil.
