FTZ Board Establishes New Minn. Subzone, Considers Expanded Authority at S.C. Facility

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has approved the establishment of subzone 119J at the MAT Industries LLC facility in Springfield, Minn., which is used for the production of air compressors, air compressor tanks and pressure washers.

The FTZ Board has also received from the Richland-Lexington Airport District, Columbia Metropolitan Airport, grantee of FTZ 127, a notification of proposed production activity at the Isola USA Corporation facility in Ridgeway, S.C. This facility is used to produce customized dielectric prepreg and copper-clad laminate sheets used by its customers to fabricate multilayer printed circuit boards. FTZ activity would be limited to the specific foreign-status materials and components and specific finished products described in the submitted notification and subsequently authorized by the FTZ Board. Comments on this notification are due no later than May 13.
