The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has authorized limited production activity under zone procedures at the Electrolux Home Care Products Inc. facility within FTZ 22 in Minooka, Ill., which is used for the distribution and kitting of floor care and other small home appliances. This authorization is subject to a requirement that inputs classified within HTSUS 5911.10, 5911.40, 5911.90 and 6307.10 be admitted in privileged foreign status or domestic (duty-paid) status.

The FTZ Board has also authorized production activity under zone procedures at the Bauer Manufacturing Inc. facility within FTZ 265 in Conroe, Texas. Bauer already had authority to produce pile drivers and leads, boring machinery, foundation construction equipment, foundation casings, related parts and sub-assemblies, and tools and accessories for pile drivers and boring machinery within site 1 of FTZ 265, and the new authorization adds certain foreign-status components to the scope of authority.
