FTZ Board Authorizes Production at Heavy Equipment, Printing and Liquor Facilities

Agricultural and Construction Equipment. The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has authorized production under zone procedures at the CNH Industrial America LLC facilities within subzone 133E in Burlington and West Burlington, Iowa. The approved activity will be the production of agricultural and construction equipment, subassemblies and kits.

Liquor Kitting.The FTZ Board has authorized production under zone procedures at the Custom Quality Services facility within site 1 of FTZ 29 in Louisville, Ky., which is used for the warehousing, distribution and kitting of liquor and glassware

Thermal Transfer Ribbon. The FTZ Board has authorized an expansion of production under zone procedures at the DNP Imaging America Corporation facility within subzone 33E in Mount Pleasant, Pa. DNP already had authority to produce thermal transfer ribbon and monochrome TTR printer rolls using certain foreign-sourced components at this facility, and the FTZ Board is now adding to the scope of authority the production of TTR master rolls using foreign-sourced rolls of polyethylene terephthalate film. This approval is subject to a restriction requiring the re-export of all foreign-status PET subject to antidumping/countervailing duty orders, proceedings, or suspensions of liquidation under AD/CV procedures that is admitted for DNP’s production activity.
