FTZ Board Expands Production Activity at Fragrance Facility, Approves New Subzone

Fragrance Facility. The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has approved the addition of foreign-status materials to the existing scope of authority at the Givaudan Fragrances Corporation facility within site 1 of FTZ 44 in Mount Olive, N.J. These materials include lactic acid salts and esters, tartaric acid salts and esters, and acridine and indole.

Louisiana Subzone. The FTZ Board has approved the establishment of subzone 154B at the Syngenta Crop Protection LLC facilities in St. Gabriel and Baton Rouge, La. These facilities are used for the production of crop protection products, including herbicides and insecticides, in retail packaging and bulk. Syngenta may produce its own products or provide contract manufacturing for other companies.
