The FTZ Board has received from the City of Mobile, grantee of FTZ 82, a request for subzone status for the Outokumpu Stainless USA LLC facility in Calvert, Ala. Production authority has already been approved for the facility, which is currently designated as subzone 82I. Comments are due no later than Nov. 2.

The FTZ Board has approved production under zone procedures at the Swarovski Lighting Ltd. facility within FTZ 54 in Plattsburgh, N.Y., which is used to make custom lighting fixtures and related parts. Foreign textile material (including netting classified within HTSUS subheading 5408.10) will be admitted to the zone in privileged foreign status, thereby precluding inverted tariff benefits on this material.
