FTZ Board Considers Expansion of Authority at Drug Facility, New Subzone in Louisiana

Puerto Rico. The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has received from The Puerto Rico Industrial Development Company, grantee of FTZ 7, a notification of proposed production activity at the Neolpharma Inc. facility in Caguas, Puerto Rico. Neolpharma already has authority to produce clarithromycin, azithromycin, levothyroxine, hydroxyzine pamoate and hydroxyzine hydrochloride at this facility, and the current request would add finished products and foreign-status materials to the scope of authority. Comments on this request are due no later than June 10.

Louisiana. The FTZ Board has received from the Greater Baton Rouge Port Commission, grantee of FTZ 154, a request for subzone status for the Syngenta Crop Protection LLC facilities in St. Gabriel and Baton Rouge, La. Comments on this request are due no later than June 10. A notification of proposed production activity has been submitted and will be published separately for public comment.
