FTZ Actions at Computer, Tube and Pipe, Furniture Facilities

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has authorized production under zone procedures at the Flextronics America LLC facility within subzone 183C in Austin, Texas. Flextronics already had authority to produce automated data processing machines within this subzone and has now received authorization to add a finished product as well as foreign status materials and components to the scope of authority.

The FTZ Board has received from the Calhoun-Victoria Foreign-Trade Zone Inc. grantee of FTZ 155, a notification of proposed production activity at the Tenaris Bay City Inc. facility in Bay City, Texas. This facility is used for the production of seamless steel tubes and pipes used in oil and gas production as well as other industrial applications. A separate application for subzone designation at this facility will be submitted. Comments on this notification are due no later than Nov. 10.

The FTZ Board has approved the establishment of subzone 158G at the facilities of furniture manufacturer Southern Motion Inc. in Pontotoc and Baldwyn, Miss.
