FTZ Production Authority Sought for Colorado Wind Turbine Facilities

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has received from Vestas Nacelles America Inc., operator of subzone 123E, a notification of proposed production activity for its facilities in Brighton, Denver, Pueblo and Windsor, Colo. This subzone currently has authority to produce wind turbines and related products (nacelles, hubs, blades and towers) under FTZ procedures using certain foreign inputs, and the current request involves the use of additional inputs. Comments on this notification are due no later than July 3.
