Automotive Facility. The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has approved an expansion of production under zone procedures at the Volkswagen Group of America Chattanooga Operations LLC facility within FTZ 134 in Chattanooga, Tenn. VGACO already had authority to produce passenger sedans, sport utility vehicles and minivans within site 3 of FTZ 134 and the FTZ Board has now approved the addition of certain foreign-status materials and components to the scope of authority.

Wind Turbine Facility. The FTZ Board has received from GE Renewables North America LLC, operator of subzone 249A, a notification of proposed production activity for its facility in Pensacola, Fla. GE Renewables already has authority to produce wind turbines and related blades, hubs and nacelles within subzone 249A and the current request would add foreign-status components to the scope of authority. Comments on this request are due no later than July 27.
