The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has authorized production under zone procedures at the Festo Corporation facility within FTZ 46 in Mason, Ohio, which is used for the production of pneumatic and electric cylinders and drives, valve manifolds, and electronic control systems. This approval is subject to a restriction requiring that foreign status textile-based felt (classified under HTSUS 5602.21) be admitted to the zone in privileged foreign status.

The FTZ Board has approved on a limited basis production under zone procedures at the Mercedes-Benz U.S. International Inc. facility in subzone 98A in Vance, Ala. This approval is subject to a restriction requiring that foreign status textile-based tufted floor coverings, adhesive cotton tape and felt strips classified under HTSUS 5602.10, 5703.20 and 5906.10 be admitted to the subzone in privileged foreign status. The FTZ Board has also determined that further review of part of the proposed activity at this facility is warranted.
