Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board is inviting comments through June 15 on the following notifications.

- Valeo North America Inc. d/b/a Valeo Compressor North America, an operator of FTZ 39, has submitted a notification of proposed production activity at its facility in Dallas, Texas. Valeo already has authority to produce air-conditioner compressor assemblies for motor vehicles at this facility, and the current request would add a new finished product (electromagnetic compressor/clutch assemblies) and certain foreign-status components to the scope of authority.

- The Greater Baton Rouge Port Commission, grantee of FTZ 154, has submitted a notification of proposed production activity at the Syngenta Crop Protection LLC facilities in St. Gabriel and Baton Rouge, La. These facilities are used for the production of crop protection products, including herbicides and insecticides, in retail packaging and bulk. Syngenta may produce its own products or provide contract manufacturing for other companies.
