FTZ Production Activity Approved for Pharmaceutical, Carbon Fiber Facilities

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has approved production activity under zone procedures at the following locations.

- the Neolpharma Inc. facility within subzone 7O in Caguas, Puerto Rico, which is used for the production of pharmaceutical products

- the Mitsubishi Rayon Carbon Fiber and Composites Inc. facility within subzone 143D in Sacramento, Calif., which will produce polyacrylonitrile-based carbon fiber, subject to a restriction that all foreign-status PAN fiber admitted for this production activity must be re-exported (entry for U.S. consumption is not authorized)

- the Toray Carbon Fibers America Inc. facility within FTZ 83 in Decatur, Ala., which will use polyacrylonitrile fiber and other inputs to produce carbon fiber and PAN fiber, subject to a restriction that all foreign-status PAN fiber admitted for this production activity must be re-exported (entry for U.S. consumption is not authorized)
