Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

The International Trade Administration is accepting comments through Oct. 27 on the proposed extension of form ITA-359P, Annual Report from Foreign-Trade Zones. The reports provide information on international trade activity in FTZs that is used by (a) Congress and the ITA to determine the economic effect of the FTZ program, (b) the FTZ Board and other trade policy officials to determine whether zone activity is consistent with U.S. international trade policy and in the public interest, (c) the public to evaluate the effect of FTZ activities on industry sectors, and (b) zone grantees in their marketing efforts. This form has been revised to reflect the revised FTZ Board regulations and remove certain information that is no longer required.
