Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has authorized production of aircraft engines, systems and components under zone procedures at the Honeywell Aerospace Inc. facilities within subzone 75J in Phoenix and Tempe, Ariz. This authorization is subject to a restriction requiring the admission in privileged foreign status of the unwrought titanium-alloy input proposed for the production activity.

The FTZ Board has also authorized the production of construction and agricultural equipment, related subassemblies and components under zone procedures at the CNH America LLC facility within FTZ 267 in Fargo, N.D. These facilities already have FTZ authority to produce tractors, wheel loaders, combine subassemblies and related equipment using certain foreign-sourced components.
