Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has received from the City of Conroe, Texas, grantee of FTZ 265, a notification that proposes a revision to existing production authority at the Bauer Manufacturing Inc. facility in Conroe. Bauer has authority to produce pile drivers and leads, boring machinery, foundation construction equipment, foundation casings, related parts and sub-assemblies, and tools and accessories for pile drivers and boring machinery within site 1 of FTZ 265, and under existing authority voluntarily admits all foreign-origin steel products subject to antidumping and countervailing duty orders in domestic (duty-paid) status. Bauer now seeks to admit such steel products to the zone in privileged foreign status. Comments on this request are due no later than March 24.
