FTZ Subzone Sought in Massachusetts, New Authority for Texas Facility

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has received from the City of New Bedford, Mass., grantee of FTZ 28, a request for special-purpose subzone status for the Talbots Import LLC facility in Lakeville, Mass. No authorization for production activity has been requested at this time. Comments on this application are due no later than July 29.

The FTZ Board has also authorized production activity under zone procedures at the TTI Inc. facility within subzone 196A in Fort Worth, Texas, which is used for electromechanical and circuit protection device production/kitting for a variety of commercial, aerospace and military applications.
