FTZ Board Expands Zones in Indiana and Pennsylvania, Denies Puerto Rico Application

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has recently taken the following actions.

- approved the addition to subzone 33D of 13 Mitsubishi Electric Power Products Inc. sites in southwestern Pennsylvania

- denied authorization to add the blending of biodiesel to the existing scope of production authority at Puma Energy Caribe LLC’s facility within subzone 7F in Bayamon, Puerto Rico

- approved the expansion of the service area of FTZ 182 to include Blackford, Jay, LaGrange, Randolph and Steuben counties in Indiana, adjacent to the Fort Wayne U.S. Customs and Border Protection port of entry
