The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has authorized production under zone procedures at the M & G Resins LLC facility within subzone 122S in Corpus Christi, Texas, which will be used for the manufacturing of polyethylene terephthalate and terephthalic acid.

The FTZ Board has received from Mercedes-Benz U.S. International Inc., operator of subzone 98A, a notification of proposed production activity for its facility in Vance, Ala. MBUSI already has authority to produce multipurpose/sport utility passenger motor vehicles at this facility and the current request would add a new finished product (passenger vehicle bodies) and foreign-status materials and components to the scope of authority. Comments on this notification are due no later than Sept. 29.
