FTZ Board Expands N.M. Zone and Iowa Subzone, Considers Electrode Facility Request

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has announced the following actions.

- approved a request on behalf of Winnebago Industries Inc. to expand subzone 107A to include a site in Lake Mills, Iowa

- approved the reorganization of FTZ 197 under the alternative site framework to cover Doña Ana County, N.M., in and adjacent to the Santa Teresa U.S. Customs and Border Protection port of entry

- received from the Greater Maricopa Foreign-Trade Zone Inc., grantee of FTZ 277, a notification of proposed production activity at the Maxwell Technologies Inc. facility in Peoria, Ariz., which is used for the manufacturing of electrodes and capacitors (comments due no later than Aug. 18)
