FTZ Board OKs Expanded New Jersey Zone, Mass. Subzone, Production at Texas Plant

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has recently approved the following actions.

- the establishment of subzone 27N at the Spectro Coating Corporation d/b/a Claremont Flock LLC facility in Leominster, Mass.

- production under zone procedures at the MHI Compressor International Corporation facility in Pearland, Texas, which will be used for the production of heavy industrial gas compressors, compressor sets, electrical generators and generating sets

- the reorganization and expansion of FTZ 49, which will now include a service area of all of Hudson County, N.J., as well as those parts of Bergen, Essex, Passaic, Union, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris and Somerset counties that lie within the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s jurisdiction known as the Port District, within and adjacent to the Newark/Elizabeth U.S. Customs and Border Protection port of entry
