FTZ Board Authorizes New Zone in Miss., Production Activity in S.C.

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has authorized the establishment of FTZ 287 under the alternative site framework, with a service area of Tunica County, Miss., adjacent to the Memphis U.S. Customs and Border Protection port of entry.

The FTZ Board has also authorized production activity under zone procedures at the AGFA Materials Corporation facility within site 16 of FTZ 21 in Goose Creek, S.C., which is used for the cutting of photographic film to specific sizes or master rolls for medical images, aerial photography and non-destructive testing.
