Georgia Foreign-Trade Zone Seeks to Expand Service Area

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has received from the World Trade Center Savannah LLC, grantee of FTZ 104, a request for authority to expand the service area of this zone under the alternative site framework. The zone currently has a service area that includes the counties of Bulloch, Bryan, Chatham, Effingham, Evans, Liberty, Long, Screven, Columbia and Richmond, and the applicant is seeking to also include Burke, Candler, Emanuel, Jefferson, Jenkins, Johnson, Laurens, Montgomery, Tattnall, Telfair, Toombs, Treutlen, Washington and Wheeler counties, adjacent to the Savannah U.S. Customs and Border Protection port of entry. Comments on this request are due no later than April 11.
