FTZ Board Approves New and Expanded Subzones, Considers Florida Zone Expansion

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has received an application from Pinellas County, Fla., grantee of FTZ 193, requesting authority to reorganize and expand this zone to include a service area of Pinellas, Hernando and Pasco counties, within and adjacent to the St. Petersburg U.S. Customs and Border Protection port of entry. Comments on this application are due no later than Oct. 7.

The FTZ Board has approved the establishment of subzone 27O at the Barrett Distribution Centers Inc. facility in Franklin, Mass.

The FTZ Board has approved the expansion of subzone 116C to include an additional site and pipeline in Port Arthur, Texas.
