The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has received from the Greater Detroit Foreign-Trade Zone Inc., grantee of FTZ 70, a request for authority to expand its zone under the alternative site framework. This zone currently has a service area that includes Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne counties in Michigan, and the applicant is now requesting authority to add Lenawee and Livingston counties, adjacent to the Detroit U.S. Customs and Border Protection port of entry. Comments on this request are due by April 25.
