FTZ Board Expands Tennessee Zone, Subzone at S.C. Auto Plant

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has approved the reorganization and expansion of FTZ 134 in Chattanooga, Tenn., under the alternative site framework. The service area of this zone will now consist of Hamilton, Marion, Grundy, Warren, Sequatchie, Bledsoe, Rhea, Meigs, Bradley, Polk and McMinn counties, within and adjacent to the Chattanooga U.S. Customs and Border Protection port of entry.

The FTZ Board has also approved the expansion of subzone 38A at the BMW Manufacturing Company LLC facility in Greer, S.C., to include site 8 on a permanent basis.
