Motor Carrier Safety Agency Head Named

President Obama announced Aug. 5 his intention to nominate T.F. Scott Darling III as head of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. Darling is currently FMCSA chief counsel and acting administrator. Earlier in his career he worked for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, including as deputy chief of staff, assistant general counsel, and environmental and land use counsel.  He also worked for the Conservation Law Foundation/CLF Ventures as the director of greater Boston institute and staff attorney.
