FMC to Explore Various Matters at July 20 Meeting

The Federal Maritime Commission has scheduled a meeting for July 20 to consider a number of matters. The open session of the meeting will include an international affairs briefing covering the U.S.-Korea bilateral discussion, the ninth annual U.S.-China maritime consultative meeting, the eighth U.S.-China transportation forum and the Panama Canal expansion. In addition, the supply chain innovation teams will provide an update and there will be a discussion on the proposed rules on ocean common carrier and MTO agreements and service contracts and NVOCC service arrangements.
