New Maritime Agreement Filed, More Info Sought on Chassis Management Agreement

New Agreement. The Federal Maritime Commission has issued notice that the following new agreement has been filed. Interested parties may submit comments by Sept. 8.

Maersk Line/MSC WCCA Space Charter Agreement (A.P. Moller-Maersk A/S (trading under the name of Maersk Line) and MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company S.A.) – The agreement would authorize Maersk Line to charter space to MSC in the northbound trade from the port of Balboa, Panama, to Los Angeles, CA. The parties have requested expedited review.

Request for More Information. The FMC is also requesting that the parties to the following agreement provide additional information, which prevents this agreement from becoming effective as originally scheduled. Interested parties may file comments no later than Sept. 11.

Consolidated Chassis Management Pool Agreement (The Ocean Carrier Equipment Management Association and its member lines; the association’s subsidiary Consolidated Chassis Management LLC and its affiliates; CCM Holdings LLC; CCM Pools LLC and its subsidiaries; Matson Navigation Co.; and Westwood Shipping Lines)
