FDA Updates Compliance Guide on Labeling of Certain Seafood Products

The Food and Drug Administration has issued an updated version of a compliance policy guide on the labeling of processed and blended seafood products made primarily with fish protein. The guide provides guidance for agency staff on current labeling requirements for these products. The FDA notes that the guide has been revised for clarity and format, including the addition of regulatory action guidance and specimen charges sections.
