Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

The Food and Drug Administration has scheduled two more public meetings to solicit input and provide further information about its recent proposed rules on the Foreign Supplier Verification Program and the accreditation of third-party auditors. Early registration is recommended. These meetings will be held Oct. 10-11 in Miami, Fla., and Oct. 22-23 in Long Beach, Calif. These will be the final two public meetings the FDA plans to hold during the proposed rules’ comment period, which expires Nov. 26.

Interested parties can review FSMA implementation and analyze FDA regulations and requirements that will most directly impact food companies, food importers, foreign food exporters and service providers in the food supply chain, including the FSVP and third-party auditor rules, with a Sandler, Travis and Rosenberg on-demand webinar.
