CBP Trade Symposium to be Held Oct. 24-25 in Washington
U.S. Customs and Border Protection has announced that the East Coast Trade Symposium will take place Oct. 24-25 in Washington, D.C. The theme for this year’s symposium is “Increasing Economic Competitiveness Through Global Partnership and Innovation,” and the event will feature panel discussions, general sessions and breakout sessions involving agency personnel, members of the trade community and other government agencies on CBP’s role in international trade initiatives and programs (a full agenda will be announced later). Members of the international trade and transportation communities and other interested parties are encouraged to attend.
Registration to attend the symposium is now open and the fee is $108 per person. Each company is requested to limit its registrations to no more than three participants in order to afford equal representation from all members of the trade community. To obtain the latest information on the symposium and to register online, visit the CBP Web site.
