DOJ Trade Litigation Director Nominated to Serve as CIT Judge

President Obama announced Aug. 18 his intent to nominate Jeanne E. Davidson to serve on the U.S. Court of International Trade. Davidson currently serves as the director of the offices of Foreign Litigation and International Legal Assistance as well as the International Trade Field Office in the Commercial Litigation Branch of the Civil Division at the Department of Justice. She previously worked for more than 25 years in the National Courts Section of the Commercial Litigation Branch, including a term as director from 2007 to 2013. She also served briefly as associate general counsel in the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative.
