Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

The Committee for the Implementation of Textile Agreements received May 23 a short supply request alleging that a certain warp stretch woven nylon/rayon/spandex fabric classified under HTSUS 5516.22.0040 or 5516.23.0040 is not available in commercial quantities in a timely manner from a supplier in the DR-CAFTA countries or the U.S. The petitioner is therefore requesting that this fabric be added to the DR-CAFTA short supply list. Responses with an offer to supply this fabric are due no later than June 7.
