Dates and Deadlines: C-TPAT, Exports, Wool Fabric, Antiboycott Issues

Following are highlights of regulatory effective dates and deadlines and federal agency meetings coming up in the next week (keeping in mind that some of these may ultimately be extended to reflect the length of the ongoing government shutdown).

Oct. 15 – effective date of BIS final rule making numerous amendments to export regulations

Oct. 15 – deadline for applications for allocations of 2014 worsted wool fabric TRQs

Oct. 15 – deadline for comments on CBP Form 3495, Exportation of Articles Under Special Bond

Oct. 15 – deadline for comments on USDA proposal to ease requirements for imports of cape gooseberry from Colombia

Oct. 16 – deadline for comments to USDA on export health certificate for animal products

Oct. 17 – ST&R webinar on dealing with antiboycott issues in the real world

Oct. 17 – mandatory compliance with rule requiring foreign-based unlicensed NVOCCs to register with FMC

Oct. 18 – ST&R webinar on establishing a top-notch C-TPAT program
