Nature of Notice: Initiation of AD and CV investigations.

Details: The ITA has launched AD and CV investigations of imports of subject merchandise. Steel nails subject to these investigations are classified under HTSUS 7317.00.5502, 7317.00.5503, 7317.00.5505, 7317.00.5507, 7317.00.5508, 7317.00.5511, 7317.00.5518, 7317.00.5519, 7317.00.5520, 7317.00.5530, 7317.00.5540, 7317.00.5550, 7317.00.5560, 7317.00.5570, 7317.00.5580, 7317.00.5590, 7317.00.6530, 7317.00.6560, 7317.00.7500 and 8206.00.0000. The ITC is scheduled to make its preliminary injury determinations on July 14.

Nature of Notice: Continuation of AD and CV duty orders.

Details: The ITC on May 23 determined that revocation of these AD and CV duty orders would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to an industry in the U.S. within a reasonably foreseeable time. Accordingly, the DOC has extended the orders for an additional five years.

Commodity: Small diameter graphite electrodes.

Country: China.

Nature of Notice: Continuation of AD duty order.

Details: The ITC on May 21 determined that revocation of this AD duty order would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to an industry in the U.S. within a reasonably foreseeable time. Accordingly, the DOC has extended the order for an additional five years.

Commodity: Diamond sawblades and parts thereof.

Country: China.

Nature of Notice: Denial of request to institute section 751(b) review related to final affirmative AD determination.

Details: The ITC has declined to institute an investigation pursuant to section 751(b) of the Tariff Act of 1930 to review its affirmative determination in the AD investigation of subject merchandise because it is already conducting a full sunset review of the same order.

Commodity: Prestressed concrete steel rail tie wire.

Countries: China and Mexico.

Nature of Notice: Final determination in AD investigations.

Details: The ITC has determined that an industry in the U.S. is materially injured by reason of imports of subject merchandise that have been found to be sold in the U.S. at less than fair value. As a result, the DOC will issue AD duty orders on imports of subject merchandise.
