Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

Agency: ITA.

Commodity: 54-foot domestic dry containers.

Country: China.

Nature of Notice: Preliminary affirmative AD determination.

Details: The ITA has preliminarily established dumping margins of 153.24% for certain producer/exporters and 24.27% for the China-wide entity. The ITA will soon instruct CBP to begin collecting AD cash deposits on imports of subject merchandise at these rates. If both the ITA and the ITC issue affirmative final determinations in this case, the ITA will issue an AD duty order and require AD cash deposits at the rates specified therein, which could be different from those set forth in the preliminary determination. A final ITA determination in this investigation is due by April 6, 2015.

Agency: ITA.

Commodity: Certain activated carbon.

Country: China.

Nature of Notice: Final results of AD administrative review.

Details: The ITA has calculated weighted-average dumping margins of 0.04% for ten exporters and 2.42% for all other exporters in this review, which covers the period April 1, 2012, through March 31, 2013. CBP will assess AD duties on all appropriate entries using these rates, which will also be used to determine new AD cash deposit requirements. CBP will not assess AD duties or impose cash deposit requirements on entries subject to the de minimis 0.04% rate.
