Nature of Notice: Court decision not in harmony with final results of AD anti-circumvention investigation.

Details: The Court of International Trade on Dec. 22, 2014 sustained the ITA’s negative circumvention determination on remand. The ITA will continue the suspension of liquidation of the subject merchandise but has set the cash deposit rate for 4.75 mm to 5.00 mm diameter wire rod to zero pending a final and conclusive court decision.

Commodity: Heavy walled rectangular welded carbon steel pipes and tubes.

Countries: Korea, Mexico and Turkey.

Nature of Notice: Initiation of AD and CV duty investigations.

Details: The ITC has instituted AD injury investigations of subject merchandise from Korea, Mexico and Turkey as well as a CV injury investigation of subject merchandise from Turkey. The schedule for the preliminary phase of these investigations is as follows: a conference will be held Aug. 11, written comments may be submitted by Aug. 14 and the ITC will issue its preliminary determination by Sept. 4 (a vote has been scheduled for Sept. 3).
