Aluminum Extrusions. The International Trade Administration has initiated an anti-circumvention inquiry of the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on aluminum extrusions from China. This inquiry seeks to determine whether imports of extruded aluminum products from China made from heat-treated 5050-grade aluminum alloy involves minor alterations to the subject goods that are so significant as to render them subject to these orders. This inquiry will also seek to determine whether imports of these extrusions represent later-developed products that can be considered subject to the orders.

Brass Sheet and Strip. In the final results of its administrative review of the AD duty order on brass sheet and strip from Italy for the period March 1, 2014, through Feb. 28, 2015, the ITA has determined a weighted average dumping margin of 22.00 percent for KME Italy SpA. AD duties based on this rate will be assessed on entries of subject goods during the period of review, and AD cash deposits at this rate will be required for subject goods entered or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption on or after March 21.

Wax Candles. The International Trade Commission has scheduled an expedited sunset review of the AD duty order on petroleum wax candles from China. Comments are due by April 6 and may not contain new factual information. This review will result in either the revocation or continuation of this order.

Steel Flat Products. The ITC has scheduled the final phase of its AD and CV injury investigations of cold-rolled steel flat products from Brazil, China, India, Japan, Korea, Russia and the United Kingdom. A hearing will be held May 24, requests to appear at the hearing are due by May 18, pre-hearing briefs are due by May 17, post-hearing briefs are due by June 1 and final comments are due by June 17.

Steel Pipe. The ITA has postponed from April 11 to May 31 the deadline for its preliminary AD duty determinations on circular welded carbon-quality steel pipe from Oman, Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates and Vietnam.
