Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

Calcium Hypochlorite. The International Trade Administration has initiated a new shipper review of the antidumping duty order on calcium hypochlorite from China with respect to subject goods produced by Haixing Eno Chemical Co. Ltd. and exported by Haixing Jingmei Chemical Products Sales Co. Ltd. During this review U.S. Customs and Border Protection will allow, at the option of the importer, the posting of a bond or security in lieu of a cash deposit for each entry of subject goods that Haixing Eno produced and Haixing Jingmei exported.

Purified Carboxymethylcellulose. The ITA has revoked the AD duty order on purified carboxymethylcellulose from Finland, effective July 1, 2014, after a changed circumstances review determined that the sole domestic producer of this product had no interest in the continuation of this order. CBP will terminate the suspension of liquidation of subject goods entered or withdrawn from warehouse on or after July 1, 2014, and will release any cash deposits or bonds on all unliquidated entries of subject goods that are not covered by the final results of an administrative review or automatic liquidation.
