Export Control Forum Set for Feb. 27-28 in California
The Bureau of Industry and Security will host the 7th annual Export Control Forum Feb. 27-28 in Irvine, Calif. The first day of the forum will feature key policy management, technical, legal and enforcement personnel from BIS and other relevant agencies who will provide detailed information on recent progress in export control reform, other significant regulatory, policy and process initiatives, recent developments in embargoes and sanctions, and export enforcement. Day two will comprise concurrent half-day breakout sessions on (1) evolving compliance challenges under export control reform and (2) universities, foreign visitors and the challenge of deemed exports.
