Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg Trade Report

Preliminary Results of Review of Pipe Fittings from Italy. The International Trade Administration has issued the preliminary results of its administrative review of the antidumping duty order on stainless steel butt-weld pipe fittings from Italy for the period Feb.1, 2010, through Jan. 31, 2011. The ITA has preliminarily calculated a zero dumping margin for the one respondent that did make sales of subject merchandise to the U.S. during the period of review but has determined that the other respondent had no such shipments. If these results are finalized the ITA will use these margins to calculate importer- or customer-specific assessment rates and instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to assess duties on all entries for which the assessment rates are above de minimis. In addition, cash deposits would no longer be required for entries of subject merchandise from the respondent with the zero dumping margin.
