The Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control is hosting a free symposium Feb. 14 in Washington, D.C. to help the international trade community better understand and successfully comply with U.S. economic sanctions. This symposium will feature formal presentations by key OFAC personnel on topics such as licensing procedures and guidance, compliance with U.S. economic and trade sanctions, enforcement guidelines and enforcement actions, and recent sanctions changes and challenges. OFAC staff will also be available throughout the day for individual questions and ad hoc roundtable discussions on issues unique to the trade community.

Those interested in attending this symposium can register here. OFAC plans to hold a separate event for the financial community in mid-March.
