Environmental Technologies Committee Sets Two Upcoming Meetings

The Department of Commerce’s Environmental Technologies Trade Advisory Committee has announced two upcoming meetings. The committee will first hold an open teleconference Dec. 29 to discuss a draft recommendation letter to DOC regarding the U.S. government’s efforts to liberalize environmental trade within the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum. Those interested in participating in this teleconference should register by 5:00 p.m. EST on Dec. 22. The Committee will then hold an in-person meeting Jan. 26 in Washington, D.C., to hear reports from its trade promotion, trade liberalization, innovation, and standards, regulations and certification subcommittees and to begin developing related policy recommendations.
