New Procurement Thresholds under Various Trade Agreements

The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative has announced the new specified U.S. dollar thresholds above which certain obligations under the WTO Agreement on Government Procurement, DR-CAFTA, NAFTA and the U.S. free trade agreements with Australia, Bahrain, Chile, Morocco, Oman, Peru and Singapore will apply for calendar years 2012 and 2013. These thresholds apply to the procurement of goods and services as well as the procurement of construction services and are divided among central government entities, sub-central government entities and other entities.
