Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Committee to Meet Nov. 30

The Department of Commerce’s Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Advisory Committee will hold an open meeting Nov. 30 in Washington, D.C. This meeting will review subcommittee work identifying proposed programs or policies on which the committee will focus in developing its next set of recommendations to DOC. These recommendations will generally relate to the development and administration of programs and policies to support the competitiveness of the U.S. renewable energy and energy efficiency industries, including specific challenges associated with exporting. The committee will also discuss its work plan for the remainder of its 2011-2012 charter.

Public seating for the open session of the meeting is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Members of the public wishing to attend must notify DOC by 5:00 p.m. EST on Nov. 23.
