Mexican Customs Compliance Procedures for U.S. Textile Exporters Subject of Free Webinar

On Nov. 30 the U.S. Commercial Service in Mexico City, in conjunction with Mexico’s tax authorities (Servicio de Administración Tributaria), will host a free webinar on exporting and customs compliance procedures for the Mexican textiles/apparel market. SAT officials will discuss the customs compliance process for exporting textiles to Mexico, the importance of the NAFTA certificate of origin and rules of origin, SAT’s NAFTA verification and audit process, and penalties for noncompliance. Advance registration will be required to participate in this webinar, and the Department of Commerce will provide details on how to register shortly.
